July 30, 201213 yr Be sure to read the upgrade woes of those who have gone to 10.8 to see if it's really what you want. First adopters always suffer the growing pains of a first version of an OS. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/macsupportcentral/ is an excellent place to start reading posts from those dealing with this now and also a good resource when things hit the fan with whatever machine you're using.

Yeah well you never hear from the silent masses who've never had any problems whatsoever. As only people who do experience trouble go to the forums. Running 10.8 on a retina macbook pro, works great. Main improvement I can see in 10.8 so far is Safari 6, although that's a separate download for 10.7 as well.
