My wife who is Thai has a Thai driving licence. Before she left BKK last July she paid 500 bhats and got an international licence so she could drive in the UK. (Please note this Int licence is valid for 12months only)

This would work vice versa so I could obtain an international licence for Thai driving.

You can get an IDP to go with your Thai licence at the motor office near Chatuchak market.

Be VERY careful buying an 'International Driving License' over the internet, many if not all are not worth the paper / plastic they are printed on.

If you want an IDP to go with a foreign national licence you should get it from your home country motoring organisations (the AA or RAC in the UK).
