i've got a pcx 125 and the rear tyre (100/90 - 14) needs changing (standard rims).

anyone know whats the largest tyre that will comfortably fit ?

and any ideas for where to go for reasonable replacement cost in Pattaya ?

I believe if you want to fit a larger tire on the back you will need one of those "tin-can-on-a-stick" replacement air cleaners, so that the larger tire can clear the intake pipe between the air box and the throttle body. That is their (replacement air filter) primary function. Contrary to popular local belief.

That being said a Diablo 100/90 will fit but it is not that much larger.

Most Thai towns have a PCX shop they will know.Or check out any PCX with a "tin-can-on-a-stick" replacement air cleaner.

EDIT: From another forum

I could not find any tyres other than IRC Wing to fit 14" wheels. I used 110/70x14 and 120/70x14, much better than the standard tyres which slip even in the dry.
