What's A Good Place To See In Central Thailand?

Featured Replies

I had originally thought Kan but been there before so am keen to try out somewhere new. Criteria are as follows.

Nice selection of culture to keep one busy for 3/4 days. Temples ect I love all that.

Nightlife wise not looking for anything on a big or even medium scale but a few options to keep a single traveler occupied nursing a few drunks would be a bonus.

Thanks

If you have your own transport.

Transport wasn't mentioned as an issue.

Plenty options.

Easy access from Phits and CM local transport readily available

Indeed! The temple complex between the mountains is absolutely amazing! Must see

Ayutthaya - more than 300 temples to explore - should keep you going for 3-4 days. Also a handful of museums.

Pretty quiet in the evening, but there are plenty of bars on "Soi Farang" (Soi Naresuan 1) and (not touristy) near the Grand Hotel.
