The 'wellie' Boots- A Good Laugh

Anyone who has ever dressed a child will love this one.

A Pre-school teacher was helping one of the children put on his 'Wellie' boots.

He had sked for help and she could see why.

Even with her pushing and his pulling, the boots would not go on.

By the time she had got the second 'Wellie' on she had worked up quite a sweat.

She almost cried when a little voice said " Miss, they are on the wrong feet"

She looked and sure enough the boy was correct.

It wasn't any easier getting the boots off than it was putting them on.

She managed just about to keep her cool and together they worked to get the 'Wellies' back on.

This time on the right feet.

Then the little voice piped up again.

"Miss these aren't my 'Wellies'

She bit her tongue rather then get in his face and scream "Why didn't you say so before" like she wanted to.

Once again she struggled to get the 'Wellies' of the his little feet.

No sooner had they gotten the 'Wellies' off when the little boy said "They are my brother's 'Wellies, my Mum made we wear them"

Now though exhausted she didn't know whether to laugh or cry but she mustered up the grace and courage to wrestle the 'Wellies' back on his feet again.

Then while helping him on with his coat, the teacher asked " now where are your gloves?"

The little boy replied "I stuffed them down in my 'Wellies'
