HH to Pattaya is 4 hours straight through and the van has 5 or 6 scheduled stops so will be closer to 5 hours than 3 and for me if it was just an occasional journey I would jump on the ferry but for a regular trip it would have to be the van.

Is there a bar on the ferry?

I done it, on the Mini Bus Pattaya >> HH about 4 weeks ago, left at 10:00 & arrived at the Clock Tower in HH at 13:50....;)

Where does one catch one of the bi-hourly mini-buses on Pattaya Tai? And, what are the departure times?

Mini bus is now every 2 hours from pattaya tai to hua hin and back, I think its about 220 baht.

Should this post be understood as in there is a route between HuaHin and Pattaya?

If yes- where are the pick up/meeting spots in the two cities?

One of the Shuttle Vans buses here in Hua Hin, drive direct to Pattaya, located main Rd. and Paula U roads, I think around 200-250 THB one way

Or get a bus to victory and hop on any of the ones that read PATTAYA.

Its an option but why do that when you can get the same kind of minibus direc...its quicker and cheaper
