Film: The Impossible - Any Of You In It?

Featured Replies

I'm over here in Estonia, planning this weekend to see that film about the tsunami, The Impossible with Ewan McGregor & Naomi Watts. I know they used some expats from Samui as extras...so did any of you make the final cut? Is the film even showing down there yet?

I saw the movie a couple of weeks ago. Recreate the atmosphere of the tsunami, confusion, terror, desperation, etc., some good special effect and good reconstructions, debris, broken trees, people wounded.

But the movie itself IMHO a bit weak.

Ewan too. Great boy instead.

I saw the guy from Premier Bar in the pick-up McGregor was riding in. He got a very brief, but full-screen head shot.

Yep - a few people and kids that I know are in it. They all went to the cinema here and watched themselves.

Luckily I was working so I avoided it.

He survived it ?
