What Is Being Built Over The River At Wanarot Market?

Noticed that what appears to be a footbridge is being demolished and a road has been laid across the river.

Any idea of what will be built there?

My assumption and hope is that the bridge is being rebuilt, it has been closed (though still used) since being damaged in the floods.

pic 1 .. 22 oct 11 the first leg on the market side moved downstream a little bit and put a kink in the bridge and it also sank down a little

The bridge will be rebuilt, there was consultation with local residents over the design and location of the bridge and inevitably that took time, now that work has started things should move along fairly, ahem, rapidly!

yea, I saw the sign telling of the costs. I think the original bridge was funded by a private donation. I always enjoyed crossing that bridge to Wat Ket.
