Thanks for the replies, all working, I had turned off my laptop and the ADSL modem a few times, but did not fix the issue. Did it one more time, access and now latency response time if fine.

What is it with computers and Gmail? I couldn't find a way into my Gmail account until a few days ago when I asked on this forum if someone would help me. Someone did, I cannot remember the name, I was told to click on the black band of my Google search engine I did this and it worked and I bookmarked it. For the past few days, no problem until this morning, I clicked on Gmail and they are asking me to start again, so I entered my Gmail address and was told someone has that address, yes, of course they have, me. now I'm back to square one. I have my Gmail address and password, but nowhere to sign in to my account, this is crazy. does anyone else have this problem ith Gmail?
