Hello,

I had to go to Immigration and took my family to Pattaya Noi. It's just 20 km away from Phibun Mangsahan (Immigr.) on the way to Chong Mek border to Laos.

It was really nice there. Really worth to go there. From Ubon only 65 km away.

Looks great. Whats there other than beautiful scenery????

Good food, cold beer, a sort of "floating market" where people sell ice cream. And always a breeze.

Land prices? Anywhere from 30,000 - 10,000,000 per rai.

I have been past this place 3 times in the last week and it looked dead every time.

Personally Sirindhorn Dam and the restaurant there inside the complex is my favourite place.

As said above the place only comes to life on holidays, long weekends etc, but when it is a holiday the place is packed. Jim

Looks like a great place to spend a few lazy days fishing and boozing. Will put it on my to do list .
