Internet Cafe With Mac Computers?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know there are many internet cafes in Pattaya, but I am specifically looking for one with MAC computers. (I am a PC person, but I have just a few things that MUST be done in a MAC....) ugh...

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I have never seen an internet cafe with Mac computers...have seen a few owners sitting at the front desk playing with their Macs, however. Maybe find one of them and ask if you can use their computer. When all one needs is a an OS and some cheap off the shelf computer inardsa and a cheap plastic case for iCafe computers, it would be pretty expensive (and risky...theft) for any cafe to use US$ 1500 Mac computers as terminals in a shop.

Wth you have do do on a mac, it's only ....unix biggrin.png

Been in Pattaya for quite a while..Your'e NOt in Mac "territory" I'm afraid :) ..have never seen an internet cafe with Macs....not even in Bangkok actually..probably a too expensive investment..

I would be interested to know what they are as I have never come across anything that a Mac can do that a PC cant do.

Maybe pop into one of the iStudio stores and have a go on one of their Macs...another alternative would be to find a graphic design or video editing shop in Pattaya...they might have a Mac you could use. No internet cafe is going to have Macs...why would they when the purpose of such shops is internet surfing and any old B 10k PC box can handle that.

UNLIKELY as Macs are 7 times more expensive than a PC. No-one takes care of someone else property like they do their own, so shop owners want something cheap so when the masses beat the shit out of it it will be cheap to replace.

There is a small cut through from Soi 7 going through to soi 8, a hotel on the left with a coffee shop bakery & internet with mac computers.
