Where is the best place in P'lok to exchange baht for around 3500 pound sterling cash?

Want the cash for family holiday later in year. Can give notice of my order, if it's needed by the bank or exchanger.

Is the money in Thailand or you bringing it. ??

Most any Thailand main branch banks in Phitsanulok will exchange & buy pound sterling, don't know if there's a limit though.

Better forum to ask on is :- Jobs, economy, banking, business, investments

And here's a google site:- http://www.google.co...iw=1016&bih=563

Perhaps should make clearer..........

It's exchanging baht (that I already have here) for £'s to go on holiday back to UK with.

You could go to bank and order foreign notes in advance.

Bank exchange rates are a rip off. If you can go to Chiangmai or BKK you can use Super Rich Money Exchange. Best rates of exchange anywhere. In Phit'lok, you'll have to use a bank. Pretty much all the same. Be advised, though, that all branches will not exchange. You will normally have to go to the main branch for exchange.

Been a few days on this post but asking also for future ref.

Would having an out bound air ticket allow one to buy traveler checks at t note rate plus a small fee and would they have a limit on the amount. I know they cash them at all the local banks and should be selling them also.
