They are Eastern Cattle and Little Egrets and they are after insects, not kernels. But nice videobiggrin.png

I thought so too, but after looking at over two hours of video, I could not see a single insect moving. I will take your word for it though!

Nice!!! Where? I think this is one bird that is still eluding me.

Singburi Hanno, hopping along a track between dried out paddy.

First and only one I have ever seen.

actually more common than you'd think . . every winter vast numbers arrive in Thailand, always loads around me in Chiang Mai. Easily heard, buggers to see. Skulkers they be.

The ancestor of KFC the Red Junglefoul.

Phu Toi National Park

Really easy to see in some places. Khao Yai springs to mind.

surprisingly . . same as Robby, the SX50 bridge cam. It's just a fairly close shot, not from too great a distance.

Taken with my new toy this morning in Kaeng Krachan, the 150-600 Tamron. Noisy like hell but it was pretty dark.

i'll say !

but hey . . . that's the price you pay with these slow Tammy/Sigma's when shooting in the dark woods. It's not bad though, and it's an 'Orange-breasted Trogon' for those that may not know.
