Thanks for the kind comment. Afaik it's a Chestnut-tailed Minla pretty common at Doi Inthanon, Thailand's highest mountain.

I got this,Orange- Bellied Leafbird in the forest at Mae Kampong.Very difficult right at the top of a tall tree with the sun above but good enough for identification purposes. I have cropped it a bit.

It's mating season!!! Many birds are chirping away like crazy and see many collecting material for their nest these last few days! Some like the blue King fisher and Indian Rollers are back too! :thumbsup:

 

Most too fast to catch on camera, yet...but this has got to be the loudest bird around, and was only about 30 feet away from me up in a tree today!  My neighbour tells me this is a female...

Normally very shy of humans but this one was caught napping in a shaded part of the marsh.

Sanambin non-hunting area Buriram. No sign of the reintroduced Sarus Cranes though.
