Hello football fans .

Does anyone know where and if the Celtic vs Juventus match will be shown in Ubon ? I only know the Wrong Way , TC and Enjoy and I don't know if any of them will be open for the late night showing .

I plan to head up for the Celtic game on the Tuesday and then catch the Manchester Utd vs Real Madrid on the Wednesday .

Neither Wrong Way or Enjoy will stay open beyond midnight. TC will stay open if there are punters buying, but I don't recall there being a TV in there (may be wrong, sorry Lance if I'm being thick).

The Champions League rights are with True Visions. You will have no problems seeing the Man U v Real game - just check into one of the many mansion hotels that carry TrueSport 1 (Phadaeng Mansion on Phadaeng Road at 500 baht for a big bed room would be my choice - nice big LCDs). Celtic v Juventus may be more of a problem to catch live in that if there is another headline match being played at the same time C v J may well be shown on TSP 3. I have a feeling that the standard package that the mansions seem to use often only stretches to TSP 1 (but I may be wrong and I do have an inkling that TSP 3 is also carried by Phadaeng as I always seem to catch an Arsenal match if I have to watch it on Ubon Hash House Harriers night). C v J will undoubtedly be showing on replays sometime in the following morning on TSP 1 as a last resort.

Maybe some Ubonite can confirm whether Phadaeng or some other mansion carries TSP 3, or you could visit or telephone hotels (Phadaeng = 045254600 - ask for the boss who speaks passable English) . Sunnee Grand will no doubt have all the TSPs, but you'll be looking at 1,500 baht plus (and a somewaht more comfortable room of course).

Good info there SantiSuk . I guess it will be the Phaedeng , not a bad staggering distance from the Wrong Way
