Popular Post nightwatch
My mango tree are crazy in this year,I never have this like bevore.image.jpg Hi moech Wow a lot of flowers on that mango tree, i used to work on a mango farm for a good friend. He actually has the last of the season mangos in Aus so his mangos fetch a good price. where he is growing is way south from where they will naturally grow hence the good price,But hard work! Please post some pics when the tree is in fruit. Heres a couple of i spotted growing in the middle of bkk.
Popular Post samuijimmy
^ wow some great photos today... I am outta likes! Here is another bloody duck! ..... sorry I could not resist! Perhaps bags on trees? is more appropriate? Peek a boo! ..... Jack fruit in side ! Mango trees around Samui, crazy with blooms right now too.... perhaps there will be a bumper crop, which probably won't be good for farmers, as prices will drop!
Popular Post shaggy1969
Panoramic view of the floating fish farm in one of the many bends of the Chi river. The rope that you can see crossing the river is actually rigged to a winch and has a cradle (now in the middle of the raft) and is used for sending bags of food down to the raft and for bringing fish up to the roadside.A clever system that I have seen used before,it certainly beats trying to climb down the steep river bank with heavy bags of fish food and the neigh on impossible task of bringing the harvested fish up the bank to the roadside. My apologies folks if this photo is far too big for some of your monitors. Seeing as it will be the last post on this page I hope it won't cause too much annoyance. Popular Post shaggy1969
A section of the raft hopefully showing the some of the fish they were farming. Sorry about it not showing the fish any clearer,..........I think if I had zoomed in any more the front of my camera would of fallen off

(only 7) How long before you will be able to harvest any coconuts from these seedlings? I assume you are a patient person. Just checked on google and it appears to be that they take 6-10 years to bear fruit and ten to fifteen years to reach full production. That probably depends on the variety and growing conditions.I'm not really bothered.I just like the look of the trees. Me too but rather than wait that long, it is easier to take photos of mature trees and have enlargements made of them and hang them around the house.
