There are many straw mushroom growers in my area.
Cassava peel is used as main substrate to grow this mushroom.

I did the same with Pak Bong (water morning glory).

Plant pak bong they say...now's the season they say...need only 25 days they say and price now ฿20/kg they say...

When i harvest, price dropped to ฿6/kg ! @#$%^&*!@#$%

No surprise there, Packdee. The mushrooms you showed in your video are the preferred "strain" for tomyam in Phetchabun(link).

Unfortunately the outer layer of this straw mushroom (Volvariella volvacea or simply เห็ดฟาง, source link1 ; link2)has to be cleaned with a knife before cooking.

After cut in half they smile(link).

This one may not be farming per say, but they are growing something on these terraces at Doi Angkhang.

Sorry folks I don't have it in me to post any scenic or farm photos today.

Chilli's are going well,we are getting this amount every second day. As I've said before ,not commercial quantities but family members and friends are doing well out of them.
