I am arriving in Khon Kaen on Saturday morning as I am planning on running in your Marathon this coming Sunday. I have a slightly strange question which I very much hope that you won't mind me asking but I have a routine before every race which is that I eat a Bagel with Peanut Butter before I run, although only on the morning of the race. It really is not terribly important if I am unable to get a Bagel in Khon Kaen as I can always substitute a piece of toasted bread. However I just thought that I should check just in case it is possible to get a Fresh Bagel in Khon Kaen this Saturday. I only really want to carry on with my routine and I could always bring one from Chiang Mai but it will be 2 days old by Sunday. So it is not really a terribly important question but I just thought that I could ask you.

Well I always like to see unusual questions. Well done! Hope you do well in the event - bagel or no bagel.

Thank you so much Mr Red and what an incredibly kind offer. I always travel with my own imported American Peanut Butter so it is just the Bagel that I am trying to find. I will definitely go to Tops as soon as I arrive on Saturday morning and thank so much for your suggestion and also your generous offer.

Thank you so much Lost_in_Isaan for your suggestion but I fear that the even the Pulman Dining room won't be open by the time I will be leaving for the race. I think I will just bring one with me and keep it refrigerated. I must apologise for asking this question it is only that I just wanted to keep a routine going. Well it looks like a 2 day old Bagel or a piece of whole meal bread. Thank you everyone who has taken the time to read this.

Do you think the kind offer of home made peanut butter may be laced with a laxative or something to slow you down?biggrin.png
