Cm Photographic Group Exhibition Opens Saturday - New Location

Featured Replies

The Chiang Mai Photographic Group's 5th Annual Exhibition opens this Saturday at Central Airport Plaza and this year it's in a new location on the fourth floor right by the glass lifts, next to Wawee Coffee. Hopefully you've seen our posters around town over the last week or two.

There are over a hundred images from twenty five photographers resident (at least part of the time) in Chiang Mai. Previous years’ events have met with critical approval and this year’s features work by many new members and an even greater selection of unusual and sometimes challenging photographs. If you haven't been to any of the past events, do take a break from the shopping and take a look - you can be sure of seeing something interesting and one of the CMPG members will be there most of the time if you want to know more about the group.

Mark Carlson, US Consular Chief will be cutting the (imaginary) ribbon at 4:00 on Saturday and you are all most welcome to come along and join us for a glass of wine at the opening.

Moved to Chiang Mai News and Events, with a live link remaining on CM.

Just got back from the opening and I can tell you it is worth the trip if you like good photography. There is some excellent work there this year.
