How To Find A Decent Townhouse For Rent?

HI, I have tried the net and no-one seems to list much in the way of townhouses.

I know I could walk/drive around and read telephone poles, but is there a forum/website that can assist?

A townhouse in Thailand is not the same as a townhouse in the west. Here in Thailand the criteria for a townhouse is that it share two walls with the neighbors (one on each side) unfortunately you are really sharing the wall and the accompaning noise

Ask anyone that has had the pleasure of hearing them pounding their papaya at o'dark thirty or their crying kids about the pleasures of sharing a wall with a Thai family

Be careful of what you wish for, you might just get it

If you're going to rent a townhouse make sure the walls are THICK before you sign a contract. There's nothing worse than having to hear the next door neighbor listening to their favourite Thai Soap Opear at full blast.

I have been put off before, but I think my 2500w RMS stereo will solve most noise issues.

I am the one usually waking the neighbours in any case.
