Opinionated person will never change their minds, despite receiving information from experts. Claiming that Jeffrey Sachs is not educated or knowledgeable, simply ignores the facts. Sachs earned his BA, MA, and PhD in economics from Harvard University and became one of the youngest tenured professors there before later becoming a University Professor at Columbia University, the institution’s highest academic rank. He has served as a Special Advisor to multiple United Nations Secretaries-General and is President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network, working on global issues such as poverty reduction and sustainable development. In addition to these senior roles, he has advised governments around the world and written numerous influential books and academic papers. Regardless of whether someone agrees with his views, his academic credentials, senior UN roles, and international reputation clearly show that he is a highly educated and widely respected economist
