Sugar palm trees?

Not sure about the name "Sugar Palm", Shaggy, I believe the Burmese make some kind of drink from it...never seen Thais doing that... Common palm down Songklha way around the rice paddies, though!

My first post in "Trees", and not a fragrant one . This tree is called the Devil Tree (Alstonia Scholaris). It blossoms in October - ooh, how lovely, that's right now!

Trouble is, it stinks! There are a couple lining my drive, so I thought that the smell was coming from them. Then I ventured deeper into the garden (I rarely walk around it ) and discovered that all 12 trees around the perimeter are the same dämn tree! OMG, what a stink!
