Beware Counterfeit 100 Baht Bills Around Town

Featured Replies

A friend showed me a counterfeit bill he said he received at Tesco near Chalong.
The metallic looking strip on the one end was just white.
So, it was pretty obvious although I wouldn't have known.
It looked very well used.

Just a heads up for you all.
I would think they would go for the 500's or the thousand baht note, not the 100's but, that's what it was.

I asked him what he was going to do with it and he said, "I'll just tear it up".

you'd be amazed even in the UK, USA and other countries that a massive amount of the currency is counterfeit, over here with there being no real staff training in retail shops and the staffs attitude as it is, i think you could hand draw a 100 note and get away with it thumbsup.gif

I believe about 20 some years ago, maybe more there was A report that A bank was handing out 100 dollar bills.I guess they were fairly good bills.

Download the scam city series and get Buenos Aires. You will be amazed about their 100 peso bills.

One of the most serious counterfeiting problems in th UK is not notes but coin. The number of false 1 UKP coins being passed around is apparently mind-boggling..
