Overstayed 24 Days Going Back To Sri Lanka And Applying For Student Visa

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, i had to overstay for 24 days for various reasons like getting paid from my ex company. i am going back with paperwork for a Non - ED visa. Will i have any issues as long as i pay the overstay when leaving? Really appreciate urgent replies.

As long as you exit and pay the overstay of 500 Baht a day you should have no problem.

So i can go back APPLY FOR MY STUDENT VISA AND COME BACK IN A WEEK. Sorry but been in Thailand legally for over 3 years and this is a bit un-nerving for me.

So as promised here's the report, i left at Suwarnabhoomi paid my overstay for 24 days told the immi. officer i am sorry abt it. He said no problem you can come back tomorrow. Went to Colombo got the ED visa and came back. no worries. No hassles. There is a small stamp on my Passport saying i overstayed and paid the fine.
