Tesco's Ubon - Check Your Groceries

Featured Replies

Twice in the last week i have bought groceries at Lotus, only to find that after i get home that an item is missing.

The receipt shows i paid for the item and as i carry and fold the bag on my motorcycle basket it is impossible to jump out.

I can only assume it got lost in the packing process at the checkout. I'm sure an honest mistake wink.png but next time i will check my bag at the checkout.

I had a similar experience there not too long ago. I bought 6 cans of milk but the receipt shown 7. I found this out when I stopped for some ice cream at Swensen right after my shopping so my grocery was still in the cart just outside Swensen's door. While I was waiting for my ice cream I was looking through the receipt and spotted the mistake. I went to customer service desk and the lady there just gave me back the money after I filled out a form. She didn't look in my cart maybe because it wasn't that expensive of an item.

I'll just have to check to make sure from now on ;)

My wife checks the receipt every time we leave and regularly finds mistakes. I don't think any of them have been intentional. Usually it's a price not matching the sale price. We do the same thing at Wal-Mart and Target in America and regularly find mistakes there too. I am, however, quite certain a lady tried ripping me off at a 7-11 for the first time the other night. That was Sukhumvit Soi 1 though. Ubonites are far more honest I'm sure. wink.png
