Samsung Mobile Phone

Featured Replies

Hi, i bought a Samsung phone from the Samsung shop in the Market Village in Hua Hin. I was told that i can use it in the UK. I also bought a True Move sim and put credit on thinknig that i could call Thailand using the cheap rates when i got back home.

Having turned the phone on now i am back, it comes up emergency calls only.

does anyone know what i need to do other than have the phone unlocked here in the UK?

Pointless buying it to be honest!

Have you set it to automatically scan for a network? It might be trying to attach to the one that it knows and giving up.

So you bought a prepaid True Move sim and you thought you could use it in the UK and call Thailand at, let me get a wild guess, 1 Baht a minute ?

Sure you can, but you can only top up the card in the flying pig shop in Blighty.
