Tyre Pressure Gauge And Pump

Featured Replies

has anyone purchased a digital gauge and pump for a car also able to use it on a bike,if so where did you get it i will go and have an idea of the price in the mall [over-inflated-prices].

I first bought a electric pump in BigC and it was crap (600 bath if I recall correct).

Now I have one I bought in HomePro and it's much better, I think it was 800 bath.

They can only run from your power outlet from your car but can also pump you bike tires.

Most large shopping centers have them but don't buy the cheapest ones from China, they are crap.

They don't have a digital gauge but a simple old type gauge and since I don't race F1 they are just fine.

these pumps are such a hassle; gas station pumps take far less time; Bang Chak station have really good ones, and I'd rather pay to use the ones at Shell than buy another inflator. Whatever brand you choose you've got to mess around with short leads, connectors that leak air, the n-o-i-s-e, wasted time 2min/tire and all that jazz. Plus if they blow a fuse you can never get them repaired.

Tesco, don't buy the cheapest and forget the pump gage. Buy separately. smile.png

I don't trust any of them types you are after.

I don't mine a bit of exercise and use a foot pump but don't take notice of the gauge.

I use two pencil type tyre gauges to check on any differences.

There's a PTT locally that has one of those set your pressure type which I have found to be very accurate.

If you are in Bangkok be aware that at Robinsons on Ratchada there is a big sale as the place is closing down, maybe worth having a look in there first.
