Having poured scorn on Sunderlando, I think I may be happy to see a DiCanio-inspired Sunderland stay in the division!!

Liverpool because nobody really likes them, Man City because it turned out it all was a lie, and Sunderland because............well you know.

Ooops sorry, that was my wish list.

QPR, Reading, and Wigan.

QPR, Reading, and Wigan.

Well tonight will shake things up:

Aston Villa vs Sunderland

A win for Sunderland would mean they're probably safe.

A win for Villa would really pile the pressure on Wigan.

Newcastle have a job on now, away to West ham and QPR (still not easy) last game home to Arsenal. Plus their confidence must be shot after the Liverpool game

Although I never like to watch LFC win, it was refreshing to the arrogant SOB Steven Taylor being devastated.

I have 2 very good colleagues who both are Sunderland fans. Have a feeling what they hope for.

The fascist gets a spanking!!!!!!!!!!! cheesy.gif 6-1 to the villa,clap2.gif 2nd division manager !!!!!! to be fair, been a good game, both teams pretty much going for it. But piss poor defending by the Sunderland c/b pairing IMo, Really piles the pressure on Wigan , they must win the game in hand against Swansea. Oh good and bad from our boy rose good goal scored, but a long x field pass to him was intercepted, just seemed to shrug his shoulders and the v player was gone, he 100% should have been busting a gut to get bac !!!!! he didnt and sunderland scored, not directly his fault, but 4 me didn't show a good attitude..

Never understood why this Spanish (?) defender (Cuelar??) is in the team. he has cost that team a lot. He lifted himself 10 centimeter off the ground when trying to jump.

Exciting stuff in the end of the season.

I'm a Liverpool fan and Newcastle still have the attitude that they have enough points to stay up. They really, really didn't give a flying-one after 3 - 0. Perhaps if one or two players have a look at the goal difference now they'll realise it might have been worth trying a bit harder after all. Delighted to see the Reds play well without the talisman Suarez but 6 - 0... strewth.

If Wigan beat already-on-the-beach West Brom, there's 3 points, one solitary win, between them and Norwich in 14th place. I'd swap all of them for the anti-footballers Stoke of course.

Anyway, here's a picture Our Luis as a vampire. Bye!

Norwich home to Villa on Saturday, either will be just about safe with a win,

its a tough ask, they have done it before so why not?

and more to the point they do try and play good football, so as a neutral hope they do stay up.

Well they need to pick up another three points at home to Swansea on Tuesday.

I wonder if the FA Cup is really going to help or hinder them?

BBC football Comments & Analysis

Martinez's history at this stage of the season suggests it would be no surprise
to see him arrive at his media briefing in a straitjacket, be hurled into a
container of water and have himself free in seconds. It is an act he has
seemingly spent years perfecting.

Can Wigan do it again?

That was a great result at WBA, thumbsup.gif

Regarding QPR

I wonder who Cesar will go to......Arsenal?

Who needs Samba the most.....suggestions?

Remy.....over rated??

Maybe QPR need them most of all in order to get back up. biggrin.png

But their salaries!

They need to agree either to cut their salaries, or play with the same salaries in the Championship.

Looking at some of the faces to the players after they got relegated, it seem like they really do not give a damn where they play.

Salaries indeed and who in the EPL really wants Remy & Samba at that price + transfer fee. I'm not convinced they are THAT good. Cesar is a good goalkeeper, very experienced and a few good years left in him........Man U, with DeGea to Real Madrid to part fund buying Bale? SAF likes experienced keepers. wink.png

Just following the lead of their manager. Easy come, easy go.rolleyes.gif Di Canio would have maimed some of them by now.

True, Should have been Di Canio watching his players laugh after relegation.

Don't want to bring the thread to him.

Anyhow,

I guessed Wigan as one of the 3 to make the drop, but I have never actually won many bets/lottery in my life, so that might be a good sign for them as well as their standard happy ending.

I feel a bit sorry for Tony Fernandes. His heart seems in the right place but its strange that such a successful businessman should be so naive.

As for buying one of their mercenaries, i'm not sure i'd like the attitude they would bring with them. For the most part the team have been a disgrace.

As sad as it makes me, I think Norwich have had it now, not getting anything against Villa was the last chance, out of our hands now.

Home to WBA away to Man City final two games

I think 40 maybe even 41 will not be enough for the final relegated team
