CAn anyone recommend the Cheapest flight out of Thai (for a one day) to obtain a 30-day re-entry? Just go out and come back in the same day.

Depends when you want to go. You need to get on the Air Asia mailing list and hit up there sales.

60 would be better, but i was planning to extend for 30 days then make a trip to Australia after that for a 1 year mult-B. BTW does anyone know if there are other legal agencies other than Sunbelt (10K for docs) and Siam legal(15K for docs) who provide the required documents (and cheaper)?

recommend the Cheapest flight..

Cheapest flight may not be the cheapest option.......... Do you need a Visa ?

Last time I looked the cheapest was to fly to Burma, but then would need to go 2x to BKK to get a Visa + the cost of Visa = not the cheapest after all, often real cheap deal to Vietnam, again need a Visa to get the entry stamp.

Other options Bus or train in and fly back, that rather depends on where you live, what time you have, any deal on that day

Let's move this over to the visa forum. Land crossings only give you 15 days now. I've heard there's a place where you can get a 60 day visa, I believe, but not sure. We'll let the experts over in the visa forum help you.

Good luck!!

The poster just wants an air turn-around flight for a new 30 day stay - that is not available at a land border and he does not need a visa so check flights on budget airlines to perhaps KL/Penang/Singapore and other such places (and if you do not need the full 30 days within a range as price can vary by day/time). But remember to allow time for turn-around - you might not have time on same return flight so a later flight the same day may be better.

But as your plans are not firm why not visit Vientiane or Malaysia by air (or land crossing) and obtain a tourist visa for return giving you 60 or 90 days if you want?

AirAsia's BASIC fare for a same-day r/t on 18th May is 4760 baht if booked today. There are same-day options available on Lufthansa, Thai, Malaysian on that day but the cheapest would be around 7300 baht. Nudging the date either way may also bring up options on Turkish, Lufthansa, Egyptair, Royal Jordanian, Oman Air and Ethiopian that I have seen as low as 4500 baht and you use the 'real' airport at KL versus AA's LCCT garage.

Never been able to get one of their offers, I'm told all the staff's relatives get first dibs.

Try Singapore with Air Asia.

You can get a turn-around flight with them quite easily, I have done it twice in the past.

There is a flight combination where you can simply clear immigration in Changi and then check in for the return flight.

I did the air Asia bkk to KL round trip in jan. easy breezy. Took about 7hrs total round trip. Around $129 us. If time and money are of value. This worked well for me at the time.

airasia BKK to Phnom penh has a morning flight and a late afternoon flight , so time enough to go & come back same day , good for a 30 days stay

Cheapest one with the least hassle I found was BKK to KL before Air Asia moved to the other airport. Pretty much landed in KL and turned right back around to wait for the return flight. I remember it was about 3000 baht return. Passport was full too so was conveniently able to switch to my other almost empty one.

When you have a site open try different days.......

I checked Tiger and air asia yesterday... 20th May, both about the same just under 5,000 baht, cheapest was going Tiger last flight arrive at 1 am, the 6 am back on 21, cheched again more by mistake on Air Asia with 21st May 3,990 baht

Re checked .... started again 20th May 4,760 baht.. again entered 21st May 3,990 baht..... total price with all fees etc. [good times for a day out, 7am from BKK return leaves 19:00 from Singapore ]

There is (or was, last I checked) an afternoon flight from Bkk-Penang that essentially unloaded, reloaded and came right back. Would be great for the kind of thing the OP is looking for, but the requirement of checking in xx minutes before flight time messes up the plan: by the time you get to check in for the return flight the flight will be closed.

The way to get those ridiculously cheap AA tix is advance planning, months and months ahead, when those sales come up.

Last year bought a KL-Vientiene flight in May for March this year, 850b.
