Where To Find A Nanny In Ban Chang?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Having started a family me and my wife both feel we want to move away from the city. We have settled on Ban Chang that seems perfect to us. Cheap houses, only a 2 hour drive to Bangkok, close to mea pim or koh samet (ban phe). However we have run into a little snag. Where are all the nannies in this area?

I have been searching everywhere and can't really find any serious ads or agencies in the area. Unfortunately our nanny in Bangkok is not able to relocate. So we would be grateful for any tips from families in the area on where to find a good nanny. We are looking for a live-out part time nanny. Preferably a little older with alot of previous experience. Thx in advance for any info on this subject.

Send me a PM with your number. I have several friends who live in the area and might be able to help. Both work there and have families.

Your best bet for finding help is to ask your neighbors, ask the workers in your village, go to another village and find the manager. We got our's from our village. She was a worker there and was ready to quit. So we hired her and it's worked out great.

I was with one friend last night and he said they've been having problems finding sitters. Real hit and miss.
