pete66 Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 I am looking for new accomodation for my Thai girl-friend. But she insists the dog must go with her. Am I right in saying that will severely restrict where she can rent? Do any apartments or condos take pets? What about townhouses? And how about purchase of condos? Is that affected?
pete66 Posted March 19, 2006 Author Posted March 19, 2006 Nobody got any experience of (canine) dogs in apartments / condods? Is it jus a no-no for renting? Thanks,

From my experience it depends on the owner of the house if he/she likes animals. I was very lucky here, 2 bedroom house with everything and a huge garden(1200qm) with a wall around in a quiet area but only 3 minutes to Central, BigC etc. Many foreigners(without dogs) asked for renting this house but we've got it because the landlady liked my wife so much, TIT. And please don't keep a dog in an apartment! Gerd

My girlfriend already has the dog, and yes, in a very small apartment, though it is a very small dog ;-) Yes, I think renting a house is probably the best option, for the dog's sake as well.
