our squad's just not good enough. we've no quality in depth at all. some really promising kids but if we keep playing them too much we're going to burn them out.

and joe cole is just absolutely finished. he might as well retire.

Isn't it one of life's little ironies that Brendan and Joe left for a 'bigger club' and a 'higher level', but are having to breathe the Swans' exhaust fumes? Obviously they hadn't come across the Thai nickname for 'Liverpuun', loosely translated I believe as a team that piles defeat on defeat.

Defeat on defeat? we've lost 4 matches in all competitions out of 19. We'll see if there's any irony come May 2013.

Are you mentally challenged or just looking to stir the pot? Assuming you are the former I doubt the owners can put Rogers in the predicament they did in deadline day then expect him to produce a miracle in the space of a few months.

@everyone take note. It's fans like this which the game needs to rid itself of. Fans who probably spend more time playing FIfA than actually going to games and if they do watch games it's watched from a laptop screen.

I asked a question? i dont play silly computer games and i would think i will have watched as many if not more matches as you depending on your age .Also i do not watch football from a computer. Now after that what do you think the score will be sensible reply if possible .Football is all about money people do not count to the owners any more

You could right if ba does not play and cisse does not hit form.

they could have a whip round for pardew at the match .

i assumed that was what the 8-year contract was all about. written in blood probably.

we're pretty easy to score against at the minute and very vulnerable to counter-attacks. there could be a good few goals in this one.

The Liverpool Newcastle game in 96 still stands for me as one of the most exciting games in the history of the Premiership. If we get anything like that, should be fun!

When Ba does leave Pardew will be not long after him 8 years or not.

Another point Stevie isn't it amazing how Suarez stays injury free what with the amount of bad tackles and diving the lad does

newcastle are going to buy out 8 years of pardew contract are they mr ed? good maths there lad.

and yes, it is. we've been very lucky with his injury record given the number of filthy challenges he's on the end of. not sure how diving causes injury though. you'll have to explain that one to me when you've finished doing the sums about how much it would cost newcastle to sack pardew. see you tomorrow.

it was mental that one. fowler, mcmanaman, collymore, ferdinand, asprilla, ginola. just loads of good attackers all over the pitch and two managers who didn't really give two hoots about defending.

Suarez needs to avoid missing games through injury cos if he goes on tackling like he did against Everton, he'll be picking up his fair share of suspensions this season.

yeah he got a bit lucky with that one maybe. some refs would see it as a straight red. think the fact that he didn't leave the floor / go studs up meant that it was just a yellow.

he's on four yellows right now as it goes, one more and he's on a ban. think in his absence we have to play coates up front.

Personally i think it was a red. Could have done a lot of damage and it was such an unnatural leg movement that it looked very malicious and intentional. But even if we call it a yellow, he should still of been off anyway cos the ref missed his earlier stamp on someone's foot that easily warranted a yellow.

Anyway. yeah, point is there is little doubt he'll miss a percentage of games through ill-discipline, never mind injury. Another good reason why someone should be working with him on his general attitude.

Re Saurez card issue, if he makes it to the end of December with out a yellow, the slate is wiped clean is it not?

Now that I'm done kidding myself, will it be a 3 match suspension for a 5th yellow?

Let's leave it until they get rid eh! wink.png ...if you think Pardew will be at Newcastle in eight years time you are off your rocker mate....what with Ashley et all to contend with let alone the geordie faithful when results start to dip.....which they will of course, unless you are telling me that they will be Premier League champs of course soon! cheesy.gif

nah, see now you're playing the player and not the incident. same as all the refs do. ;)

but yeah, second sentence i agree. but it's what he is and who he is. don't see it changing dramatically any time soon. it's like that line everyone used to say about rooney, 'take that side of his game away and he isn't the same player' etc. rooney grew up, eventually. suarez is still a couple of years younger. whether he's still playing at anfield when he's 27 is another matter of course.

it's a one match ban for five yellows.

let's hope he doesn't get one tomorrow then...Chelsea next week

exactly, he needs to think on that. as does the manager. can't have the massive racist missing a match at the home of massive racists can we?

Great that you are so clearly able to see all the bias and all the conspiracy against him. I wonder though how clearly you are able to see your own bias?.... bias that until a week or so ago, completely blinded you to his long history of diving exploits.... wink.png

Isn't there a girl in a bar somewhere you should be paying to listen to your dribble?

I was merely trying to educate you about the Thai nickname for your team. I'll leave the bar girls to you, but if you find an intelligent one ask her what 'Liverpuun' means. And it is drivel not dribble, though I think some of your lot will certainly be dribbling into your lager if you don't get a result at the Liberty.

Ill pass ok the bar girls thanks. I don't need to pay.

Drivel/dribble.. don't really think it makes a difference in your case as it's all bs.
