I'm not sure whether or not Totster's has been recognized elsewhere on TV but it hasn't gone unnoticed here in Bedlam. I've gotta say that Tots is an enjoyable and humorous addition to any thread and has always contributed heavily to the quality of TV.

Push Dr. PP's buttons? I highly think not. Not unless my affectionate poking-fun-at is taken for something it's not. My references are meant as fine compliments. To quote Old Croc: ". . . there is an art to achieving the perfect mix of humour, sarcasm and relevance in one line." While he may or may not have been referring to Dr. PP I think that describes him almost perfectly. I'd add tremendous wit. But I wouldn't stop there, though. If Dr. Pat Pong would ever care to exercise his fingers beyond single sentences he might make for a comparable, modern day Mark Twain (who IMHO is the master of wit).

While there are a high number of posters out there whom I enjoy reading tremendously each has their own unique style and personality. That makes it impossible to say who my favorites are. But Dr. Pat Pong is certainly up there in the rarified air and definitely in a class of his own. Who, for instance, could possibly compare to Pink Floyd?

I'd love to list all the members and mods who regularly have me doubled over, and also those whose forte is not necessarily humour but insightfulness and humaneness delivered with amazing grace. But I'd be loathe to leave anyone out.

Totster is obviously one of those guys since I've taken this opportunity to honour him by way of celebrating a really rather meaningless milestone. 50 posts or 50,000 posts, who cares. The quantity doesn't speak of the quality. But it was a good enough excuse for me to acknowledge his contributions to enriching my idle time.

I, myself, would never make for a good one-liner poster. I love my soapbox too much. In fact, after reflecting on my feelings in this post all bids as of now are officially off. I cherish my indescript, cheap, plywood pedestal afterall. Although I did get some good ideas for further improvements, e.g. cup holder (not for my drinks but to catch my drool), padded arm rests. I'm sorry, but y'all will have to continue to put up with me.

Aside from the above drivel I'd like to extend my apologies for overrunning Bedlam lately. I've tried my best to squeeze Boonie out but as you all know he's a hard nut to crack. Political fanaticism just doesn't seem to go away. I hope you take that affectionately, too, Boonie.
