Visaka Bucha Day - Reentry At Suvarnabhumi

I'm flying out of BKK on Friday May 24, which also happens to be Visaka Bucha Day, a Thai holiday. I normally get my re-entry visa at the airport on the way out, but this time I'm a bit worried about doing it this way.

Does any of the TV experts know if the re-entry visa office will be open on this day, or should I make the big schlep out to Chaeng Wattana Immigration before I head to the airport?

Should not have any effect on immigration business at airport.

I thought a re-entry permit could not be gotten at the airport anymore (only under special circumstances), or did the rule change?

Airport has been providing at a dedicated desk for several years now - previously 06-2400 but now reported to be 24 hours.

I'm sure Lop is correct but why leave it to the last minute when you don't have to. Any snag at the airport and you start again with your visa application.
