2 of my Pit Bulls are just one year old, if you can upload a pic and the area where found it might be one of their brothers or sisters, which I would then know the owner, plus know a few other owners of Pit Bulls too.

Regards

Alf.

I think that dangerous dogs such as pitt bulls have no place on the island. This is my opinionon and off this 'discussion' forum.

The dog in post 3 is more dangerous it's got a smile but can't see if the tails wagging.

I think you’ll find Pit Bull’s as a breed aren’t dangerous...its how they are brought up that matters. Soi dogs on the other hand are way more unpredictable

ANY dog can turn though I'm happy to admit that with some breeds it would happen less often. Training can also have a huge impact (untrained unpredictable soi dogs) but it can still turn.

agreed - though my golden lab is the gentleman among dogs. Even if he was owned by a skin head or some farang Thai boxer, he'd still smother you with love. A Pitt bull on the other hand, well, .....you know.

Have been bitten twice by Highland Terriers, and once by a Jack Russell, chased by a Bassett hound ( luckily they have little legs) so all dogs CAN be dangerous, just depends how they are nurtured, rather than natured. Lots of good responsible foreign dog owners on the Island, yet to meet a chav strutting around with vicious dog on a lead here.

I also agree with the post regarding soi dogs, very unpredictable and have got chased by a few whilst on my motorbike, yet others often come up to me for treats whilst i am working.
