fisherd3 Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 A few companies with similar looking ads are advertising a range of Samsung/Apple products at very cheap prices, in the classifieds at Bangkok Post e.g. Samsung Note 2 @ 300US$. They of course say they are authorised dealers providing service backup based in Thailand (Bangkok/Chiang Mai) etc. These offers seem to be flitering down to Craigs List with some mark up but still looking cheap. There are a plethora of these ads, anyone got any experience in dealing with them or other comment?
lomatopo Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 One generally gets what one pays for. It is possible to be an authorized dealer, and offer service, and sell copy/knock-off phones. There have been references to Note 2 knock-offs for as little as 6,000 THB. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/610742-galaxy-note-ii-6000-baht-issues/
LuckyLew Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 If the price sounds and seems to good to be true ... there is a reason 1
