I'm Looking For A Game Of Squash.

I played squash for the first time in a few years today. I only had a knock around with my wife, but it gave me a thirst for more.

We played at the Ambassador hotel complex, just outside Pattaya. I am in Ban Chang and don't mind traveling this distance for a game.

Would anyone be interested in a game either here or anywhere close by? Otherwise does anyone know of any squash clubs around Pattaya?

The Dusit Resort at Dolphin roundabout has two or three Squash courts in the fitness centre. There might well be a roster of players there that will be up for a game.

I do not know of any independent squash clubs. I would imagine most are to be found as part of a fitness centre or in the better class hotels.

Your in luck , there is a squash court in my condo in payoon Ban Chang. you will have to find someone to play with , I think squash would kill me off. Just ask at reception ,I think it costs 50 baht an hour

Thanks for that. We called them. Its 60baht an hour, which is great. Now we need to get another raquet and some balls. I'll go to Rayong for them.

I used to play squash during my uni. years.... 20 yrs ago. But not any more, the ball's just too fast for me now.....but still have the raquets though.

I too am looking for a squash partner. I used to play a lot last year when I was based in India, but mounting work resulted in playing a lot less. ie not at all.

I would say I'm fairly good...ahem..... although speed around the court is my main skill. Probably slowed down tho, since the same mounting work (and working with Indians) put me back on the fags. Keen to quit, so need to get active again.

If you know the place to go play then let's go!

Bummer!...I'm in the US still .....and planning to move to thailand in 2 yrs time. May be I will look you up

Thanks for that. I visited the hotel/condo. The court is a little run down and neglected, but I will probably use it as its very close to home and will do for my wife to learn on.
