Apply for the partner visa. Seems quite obvious really. Especially if she wants to live here.

OP: Just completed the visa wizard based on your posts and the response was Partner (Temporary and Permanent) (subclass 309 and 100) visas. Detail on these visas at:

Good luck to your son op. We did this visa last may here in Australia. Wasn't to hard. Just print off 50ish pages and don't miss printing the checklist they ask for and attach to the front of application.
