Isco is another who won't work.

EPL defences will neutralise diva Maria.

If Pellegrini thinks he can win the EPL, he won't.

Jose will p*** all over him.

Isco is a similar player to Cazorla.

He didnt do too badly this seasonwink.png

If Isco ends up at City and is even 3/4 the player that Cazorla is I'll be overjoyed. I like Cazorla a bunch.clap2.gif

If he's 3/4 the player Cazorla is, he'll be about 4'3".

Yorkshire Tea (Taylors of Harrogate) of course. Personally imported!

Somebody start a "I'm bored, It's Summer" thread please?!

I tried Yorkshire tea last time I was in UK and I thought it was very passable, with a Ginger Snap dunk.

Good call on the ginger snaps

Yep. Ginger snaps and Brooke Bond PG tips are a bit risqué in the present football climate.

Super Mario is doing fine in Italy I believe.

each to their own opinions of course but i'd have Isco and Di Maria in Spurs shirts whenever they like.

Yeh. But you said that about Torres too Carmine.

Can I interest you and Mr Levy in my nephew? He's only 4 foot 3 but he's very good with his head.

Yes and i'd still have Torres because our other optionsare defoe and Adebayor who simply stops playing when it suits. Please tell me you are not struggling with the logic of thatwink.png

No problem Carmine. I'll get the paperwork drawn up. Nephew is distantly related to the Lampard, Redknapp and Chamberlain families. Does Mr Levy have a preference for colour?

Cheers.

Jungle drums in the fringe football press beat louder for Higuain to Arsenal. Ilkay Gundogan (Dortmund) a target for the well-touted need for another midfielder.

I'm tempted to add the epithet 'holding', but I am increasingly confused as to whether there is any significant difference between a box to box midfielder, a defensive midfielder and a holding midfielder (and for that matter when does a CAM become a forward?)

I think Wenger will have to up his offer of some magic beans in exchange for Higuain biggrin.png

I think Higuain would respond well to the father figure Wenger. He's in need of some TLC after Mourinho, the fickle RM fans, and often having to play second fiddle to Benzema.

Shanks and Tommy Docherty were at a game. There was a player every other club coveted on view. Docherty said to Shanks - '100,000 wouldn't buy him.' Shanks retorted - 'Yeah, and I'm one of the 100,000!'

Love silly season according to the papers, Ronaldo will be a united player again on 8th august, and lewadonski and fabreglas are coming too, would love all 3 but where would we fit all 3 in the team, and some team we will have if the 3 come.

Rumour.

Manchester United are increasingly confident they can bring Cesc Fabregas and Robert Lewandowski to Old Trafford this summer after being given private encouragement from both players.

New United manager David Moyes would ideally like to bring both the Barcelona midfielder and Borussia Dortmund’s Poland striker to the club before his squad departs on a tour of Asia and Australia in the middle of next month.

It is understood both players have expressed an interest in joining the Barclays Premier League champions and United feel they can do the deals.

I have seen Lewandowski quite a lot in Germany and he can be outstanding. Fabragas I know from his.Arsenal days, but I haven't followed him in the Spanish league, by all reports he is still very good. There does not seem to be much movement on Leighton Baines and I read somewhere that United are looking at Luke Shaw as a possible alternative. I know it is only a rumour at the moment, but if United do get both Fabregas and Lewandowski, they will be a great addition to an already great team.

Nope. He's opening a hair salon with Fergie.

It looks more and more likely that there'll be a big pissing contest between the top 3 ( and maybe Arsenal) this window.

I'm starting to think teams are better off going for 3 really talented players rather than 1 very talented player for the same money.

So much emphasis and hype on big names, and yet there seems to be a decent pool of young talent at much better value. Well I guess that works in favour of us minnows wink.png
