Hello all.

Often when looking at business for sale they will say something like "sold with Xmillion baht company with 2 work permits" etc etc.

What is the general consensus? Do most people buy the existing company or start a new one? Taking over the existing one would seem to have issues such as you take on any unknown liabilities.

Thanks.

I personally think you should never ever take over a company.

Take over the assets and pay some for the goodwill if that is needed to close the deal.

Start with a brand new administration.

I prefer the saying 'skeletons in the closet' in this Thai context.

With a can of worms you can still catch a lot of fish. smile.png
