To Close Or Not To Close?

can anybody please tell me what the LAW is regarding serving alcohol this saturday and sunday?

i have heard and been told 20 differant versions , including 2 totally differant ones from 2 "lawyers"

I am a "pub" that doesn't serve food , in a tourist area.

many thanks!!

Its law.

Bars closed from 6pm Saturday to 6pm Sunday, 10,000baht fine for those caught breaking it.

Stupid in my opinion, as a farang we have no rights/influence over the election and yet we are not allowed to open/frequent bars.

Stick a case in the fridge tonight and enjoy your day off tomorrow

thanks wolfie.....that fits in with what i intend to do!

i have no arguement with obeying their laws (after all when in rome etc) but it would be nice to have access to the "LAW" to find out what it is !!

Cheers!

In my experience, the police usually come round and give you some kind of written communication, but thats not always the case!

Happy Elections!
