They make accurate (and potentially deadly - use caution if shooting at people) projectiles when you break them into two pieces and launch them slingshot style form an elastic band looped over your index finger and thumb!

The big ones can keep a skirt's waistband together if you lose a button.

Or when the lower seam of your trouser leg splits and you are not in position to get them fixed or change.... Staples and paper clips.

Or when your zipper is broken (fly for boonie)...

Or to shove up your nose when it is all congested, try to loosen the snot a bit...

Take a paper clip and hook up an other paper clip to it!

I use them to pick locks.

They can be used for attaching photos to posts. But I can never find the little buggers.
