Songkran 2006

Featured Replies

In the past I think Phuket was limiting the days to one. Anybody know which day that is this year?

13, 14, 15 or 16?

Thanks

Typically its only the one day here and thats really only during the day.

I beleive the main day is the thursday this year (if your around the bars on wednesday night you will probably get wet)

Pretty much as Wolfie says. Starts evening of the 12th and all day 13th.

14th it is definitely over.

Not this year, the local govt says were cool for water for a while!

Game on!

Please remember that Phuket has a water shortage :o

Not this year.

By January last year, my lawn was a crispy, brown colour. This year it is still green and there is plenty of water in the bore.

Stay away from Bangla Road for three days before and after.

I like Songkran, but one day is enough.
