overherebc
Searched but many threads are quite old. Can anyone confirm still no visa required for transit thru Schipol to UK from BKK Thanks.
Pomthai
No immigration checks for transit passengers. Just the usual gate / boarding pass security and identification check. This was May this year. As long as you have your boarding pass which is usually the case no issues. I went Phuket, Kuala Lumpour, Amsterdam and then UK. Got all three boarding passes at Phuket checkin. Same in reverse coming back.
theoldgit
Assuming you're talking about a Thai National then a transit visa is not required.
ToddWeston
I fly via AMS often and as stated no issue, you can verify here based on your citizenship http://www.staralliance.com/en/services/visa-and-health/
Jay Sata
Assuming you're talking about a Thai National then a transit visa is not required. Nothing to do with Thai's Oldgit Anyone with an onward ticket can transit AMS and every other international airport. That's why Snowden is in Moscow and free. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-23283684
Jay Sata
I forgot to mention I would not recommend BKK via Moscow to London via Aeroflot. A nightmare. The airport is terrible as is the service. http://svo.aero/en/
Popular Post Tony M
Assuming you're talking about a Thai National then a transit visa is not required. Nothing to do with Thai's Oldgit Anyone with an onward ticket can transit AMS and every other international airport. That's why Snowden is in Moscow and free. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-23283684 I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You have no idea what you are talking about most of the time. Your "knowledge" and "advice" is downright dangerous. It has everything to do with being a Thai national. Anyone with an onward ticket cannot transit every other international airport that they wish. It depends on their nationality, their destination and their documentation. For instance, a Nigerian in transit through London from Brazil to Tunisia will need a transit visa. Before you continue to try to impress everyone with how knowledgeable you are, get your facts straight.

tw25rw
Amsterdam is great for this purpose as long as she isn't transferring to a budget airline necessitating clearing immigration.
