The Swastika (also known as the gammadion cross, cross cramponnée, or wanzi) (as a character: 卐 or 卍) is an ancient religious symbol that generally takes the form of an equilateral cross, with its four legs bent at 90 degrees. It is considered to be a sacred and auspicious symbol in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism and dates back to before 2nd century B.C.

it's not a bouddhist symbol on this pickup but one about Hitler and Nationak Socialism before and during the last WW2 ;

it's written 1933-1945

I shot this photo in Mae Sai, border of Burma in Chiang Rai province a few years ago;

it's not a bouddhist svastika on the " lucky " helmet

I copied them and put them into the thread for pickups as they were in the thread for trucks and buses.Should have asked the OP's 1st which is what I normally do in these cases but neglected to do so this time around.goof.gif
