Have booked a ten day stay at the above resort on Mae Nam beach and was hoping someone out there has some personal experience of the place?

Any info much appreciated.

..Any recommendations for good places to eat nearby?

there are several places nearby. try harry's for good cooking and very nice thai ambience. or little bit further down the road, towards the seafan resort, cherry's - free pool table! or between cocopalm and harrys, turn right on the temple road see john's - nice garden setting - steep gabled thai-style roofs as @ harry's. further down this road there are a couple of roadside eateries, some bars for your "entertainment".

Cheers Samuian! Just the kind of info I was looking for! Brilliant. While Im at it (sorry not to have compiled this as one message as opposed to several), could you (or anyone else) recommend the best places for massage treatments on Mae Nam beach. Is there anywhere on the beach that does Yoga classes/tuition?

Thanks for your feedback and happy Sunday to you all,

hi,

massage is available @ harry's too in a beautiful, tranquil garden setting, next to a waterfall - traditional thai, oil, reflexology, foot massage - name it - very relaxing!

for yoga classes have to contact "health oasis", is @ about 3 km distance from mae nam.

Checked out their website and it looks sweet!

Thanks for all the info - taken a load of "motherly organising stress" away and for that I am very appreciative. Find us down at Coco Palms "the Kaufman" family (from April 20th to May 2nd) and the Heineken is on me :D

Happy daze,
