Ubon-safetey box, GNC, apt. near Central...

Featured Replies

In Ubon, any private safe deposit box companies?

Possible availability of safety deposti boxes,..... at which banks?

GNC in Ubon?

Apartment vacancies/? Where?...Epecially near Central Department Store?

---Thank you!

As I understand all safey boxes at the banks that have them are full. And have to be put on A long waiting list.I know of only one private company and that's located in Bangkok.

We tried to find one about 6 months ago. We called every single bank you can think of and none were available. Several suggested we go to Bangkok rather than wait.

Must be some serious cash and gold stashed away in Ubon!

Good business opportunity going begging!

Central is built on former marshland on the edge of town. Realistically you are unlikely to find an apartment within a couple of kilometres and that apartment would be fairly remote from other facilities. Ask in Enjoy - maybe there is somewhere around there (2 kilometres away); at least you would have a bar to hand as well as a walkable journey to Central. The other area would be around Nong Bua/Big C and the North side of the ring road between the Yasothon and Amnat junctions (say 3 kilometres); at least there you would have supermarket and other shops to hand plus a baht bus route or two within close range.

Lots of apartments recently finished in Big C area to the east. Easy to get to Central on the ring road from there. Only 2 stop lights.

i know of a monk up here who could maybe help you,but dont quote me....whistling.gif
