Buying a camera on Samui?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew a place to buy the Samsung Galaxy Camera (http://www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxycamera/camera/) on Samui? I tried Tesco Lotus today but the guy said they had sold out, or no longer had them (wasn't quite sure on the translation).

Does anyone know another place on the island? I have a hired car so driving is not an issue. Or perhaps there is a dedicated camera shop with something better? Either way any info is appreciated

Did you go to the Camera shop in Tesco Lotus mall or just Tesco?

As PS just said...there is a dedicated camera shop inside Tesco Chaweng (near the entrance to the cinema) and there is another on in Tesco Lamai (next to Banana IT)

The other shop you might try is Siresin between Markro and Tesco Chawang...on the Makro side.... not sure if they have Samsung though, worth a look...

Also try the other large Tesco... ..... as well... also both Camera shops in Lamai or Chawang as mentioned.

Thanks so much guys! Went back to Tesco Lotus and found the camera shop by the cinema... Got the Samsung I wanted no problem and the lady there gave me a really good price

There's also an old lady selling fireworks on Soi Haad Ngam, behind the Chinese temple (monkey temple)
