IPhone 4S from UK has a problem. Warranty repair in Thailand? (Khon Kaen)

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I bought my iPhone 4S when I was in England back in May this year. Unfortunately a problem has developed with the loudspeaker and I would like it sorted out under warranty if possible.

The problem is I don't have any of my receipts or even know where I put them. Stupid I know.

So basically before I take the phone to be repaired by a market stall repair man I wondered what my chances are of an official Apple warranty repair?

Thanks for any replies, it's much appreciated!

P.s I am based up in Khon Kaen

iPhones do not have international warranty unlike other Apple products.

So you have to bring it back to the UK unfortunately.

Or, the market stalls.

Try calling Apple. Their Thai service number is : 001800 4412904

Thanks for the replies!

I'm surprised Apple don't honour their warranty anywhere in the world. Seems a little bit unfair.

I will most certainly try the Apple care Thai number, thanksJimi007!

Apple explained to me that the iPhone is regionally specific regarding repairs. An iPhone bought in one of their particular regions will not be able to be serviced by Apple outside that region.

Anyone know what regions there are?

But I guess Apple warranty would be void. There is also an official Apple service center in BKK, but they charge i.e. 7500 THB for IP4 screen repair, a new one would cost 8500 :)
