Has anyone noticed Watsons never seem to have a pharmacist on duty. Over a period of time I've gone in to get medication and get told Pharmacist on holiday.

Now once or twice is not bad.

It has happened in Bangkok, Tukom and today at Royal Garden. Several times I have been into these pharmacies and the same story-I had an eye infection, staff said cannot Pharmacist on holiday.

What would you rather have? Watson's apologies for closing their pharmacy due to lack of a qualified dispensing pharmacist on duty or getting some unknown ointment from the son-in-law of the local pharmacists cousin who just happens to be visiting at the time and can speak English?

It's a legal requirement to have a pharmacist on duty before selling prescription medication. I applaud Watson's and Boot's honesty over the temptation to make extra money and not flaunting a poorly enforced law.

Eye problems? See a doctor first; especially if it is recurring. Don't self-prescribe. It's not just another a drippy cock.

go to a doctor for an eye infection <deleted> is wrong with you?

He told you, he's got an eye infection.

However, your abusively put advice might not be wrong. The wife of a friend of mine died 5 days after getting an eye infection which rapidly progressed to blood poisoning.
